Formed in 2001 the Vinder contributed positively to the metal scene from the beginning.
With their will and ability to establish themselves as a high quality metal band Vinder was critically acclaimed soon.
One reason for their huge success is the creative output of the songwriter duo Ralf Schulz and Oli Kaufmann, both founder members of the legendary Tyran' Pace.
After three demo cd's the band co-authored the song 'Sacred Illusion' on Primal Fear's Devil's Ground album.
In 2005 they signed a contract with Sleaszy Rider Records and released the album 'Visions of Time' end of 2005.
After Shows with Metal Church, My Darkest Hate, Chinchilla and Donnerkopf they are currently rehearsing for their second album with the working title 'Vitruvian Man' that will be released in 2008.

During the production of 'Vitruvian Man' Dirk Schaeffner took over the vocals and his first live appearance was Oct, 18th at the Air Axes Metal Festival.
